Education Partner Update re: May 2020
Dear education partner,
Thank you for your patience during this challenging time. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and resulting travel restrictions across the world, Fanshawe College has made the difficult decision to suspend some programs for the summer term. These programs will resume in the fall.
Many Level 1 programs will move to an online delivery. Here is what you need to know about Level 1 Students starting in May 2020. Individual emails will also be going to the students.
Summer 2020 Term: Programs Delivered Fully Online – May 05 to August 22 (a traditional 15-week semester length).
An Exclusive Offering for Second Program and International Students In Canada
The
Level 1 programs listed below will be running 100% online. Immigration
Refugees and Citizenship Canada has been silent on the eligibility of
online studies taken from outside of Canada towards a post-graduate work
permit (PGWP). Recognizing the importance that many students place on
their studies and the eligibility for a PGWP, second program students
and international students who are already in Canada will be welcome to
register in the May semester. In an effort to meet expectations and to
ensure consistency in understanding, students who are outside of Canada
will be cancelled and deferred to September.
